CFA will be holding tryouts through February for their 2021-2022 Program that will commence in March for players born in 2014-2007s and May for 2006 and older

California Football Academy (CFA) is a Calsouth and US Club Soccer Registered Organization with teams in San Clemente, Ladera Ranch, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo and Huntington Beach. CFA runs a competitive 12 month program, led by professional Coaches that focus on player development both on and off the field. CFA splits its 12 month Calendar into four seasons:

Spring - Teams Practice 2-3 times a week and either compete in NPL or ESL Spring Season depending on the flight of the team.
Summer - Teams practice 2-3 times a week and compete in Sanctioned Tournaments, attend CFA Summer Camps
Fall - Teams practice 2-3 times a week and compete in SCDSL and State Cup
Winter - Teams practice 2-3 times a week and compete in SCDSL, State Cup and ESL Winter 5v5. Older Teams break for High School.

The Mission of CFA is to develop successful, well-rounded individuals who exhibit excellent game understanding, skills, good sportsmanship, ethical and moral behavior. We aim to leverage the challenges and life lessons of striving for excellence in competitive soccer into molding young people to understand the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and hard work while fostering an environment that allows players to reach their full potential and love for the game. We want to help players reach their goals both on and off the field and provide a pathway to the top of the game.
