General Information
This elaborate neighborhood has five ponds that interweave in and around the homes. The grand entrance starts off with a mixture of different trees and shrubs decorated around stone and brick archways. Stepping stones lead up a stacked-stone ledge that eventually ends up at brick sign covered in ivy on both sides. As you continue past the entrance sign, there are several divided medians in the road that are lined with well-kept trees and shrubs. Further down you will come to a roundabout with a large, stone fountain in the middle. To your right there is an entrance to The Village Shops.
Passing The Village Shops on your right and continuing on through the round about takes you past several more landscaped divided medians and a large pond on your left-hand side. Before entering the next roundabout, you will notice a grassy common area on your left after the pond. A sprawling pergola with small, brick planters surrounding the columns is located in the center of this grassy area and overlooks the pond. Next to this area is the neighborhood pool and clubhouse. The oval-shaped pool is surrounded by a black, wrought-iron fence and attaches to the clubhouse directly. Views of the pond can be seen from the pool and adds to the prestige of the area. The clubhouse also has a large parking lot in front with ample amount of room for residents to use.
Heading north on Harbourview Drive brings you to the first section of houses. The homes here are all brick with just slight uses of vinyl-siding accent. Many of the garages are courtyard style or side-load. All of the homes in this area have water views, or are located on one of the several ponds in this section.
Turning left onto Canadian Geese Drive brings you to slightly more traditional-style homes. Although still mostly brick exteriors, several of these houses also have a touch of stone veneer or vinyl-siding accent walls. There are little to no mature trees in this area, however, the landscaping is well-kept.
Heading north on Beach Forest Drive again, away from the pool and clubhouse, takes you to the community recreation area on the largest of the five ponds. Here there are shady Oak trees that cover the common area. An arched bridge takes you up and over to a gazebo sitting area in the middle of the large pond. The homes in this section tend to be all brick with many having three-car garages. The houses on the left of Currituck Drive are all located on the pond and towards the end you will find many homes mixed in with tall, shady Oak trees. Landscaped divided medians continue to be a common attribute down Beach Forest Drive as well.
Beach Forest Village is located just down from Moonlite Village and around the corner from Greenbriar. Several shopping centers are located just down the street and offer many dining and shopping venues.
